👩‍🍳 How to make Lentil Pancake

  1. Soak lentils (4 hours or overnight, room temp): Rinse 3-4 times. Soak in 3 cups water 4 hours minimum.
  2. Grind (3 mins, high speed): Drain soaked lentils. Grind with 1/2 cup water to smooth, light batter.
  3. Mix ingredients (2 mins, room temp): Add onion, green chillies, ginger, turmeric, coriander, salt. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Heat pan (2 mins, high): Cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot.
  5. Oil and pour (2 mins, high): Add 1 tsp oil, swirl. Pour 1/4 cup batter, spread into 5-6 inch disc.
  6. Flip and cook (2 mins, medium): Flip, cook second side 1-2 mins until light golden.
  7. Serve (1 min, hot): Transfer to plate. Serve with chutney or pickle.
