  2. Temper (1 min, high): Add cumin seeds, asafoetida.
  3. Add paste (1 min, medium): Stir in ginger-garlic paste.
  4. Add potatoes (1 min, medium): Add potatoes, stir to coat.
  5. Add tomatoes (1 min, medium): Add crushed tomatoes.
  6. Add spices and water (1 min, high): Dust turmeric, chilli powder. Pour water, bring to boil.
  7. Add beans (1 min, high): Add sliced beans, return to boil.
  8. Simmer (8 mins, low): Cover partially, simmer until beans are tender but retain slight crunch.
