👩‍🍳 How to make Sukuti with Rice

  1. Soak sukuti in warm water 10 minutes; tear into small pieces; drain.
  2. Heat oil in pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onion; fry 2 minutes until golden.
  4. Add garlic and ginger; fry 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add green chillies; fry 20 seconds.
  6. Add turmeric, garam masala, and asafoetida; fry 20 seconds.
  7. Add sukuti pieces; stir-fry 2 minutes (distribute spices).
  8. Add tomato paste; stir-fry 1 minute.
  9. Pour water; bring to boil.
  10. Reduce to medium-low; simmer 10 minutes until sukuti becomes tender and sauce thickens.
  11. Add salt and black pepper; taste and adjust.
  12. Serve hot over steamed rice; garnish with fresh coriander.
