👩🍳 How to make Steamed Chhurpi with Turmeric
- Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and turmeric together.
- Whisk egg with milk and oil in separate bowl until combined.
- Add egg mixture to flour mixture; stir until smooth batter forms (no lumps).
- Fold in grated chhurpi, green chilli, ginger, and coriander.
- Transfer batter to greased aluminum container (½ filled).
- Cover with greased foil.
- Boil water in steamer; place container on steamer stand.
- Steam 15–18 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 3 minutes; turn out onto plate; cut into squares.
- Serve warm with gundruk pickle or chutney.
