👩🍳 How to make Sinki
- Soak sinki in warm water 10 minutes; squeeze thoroughly to remove moisture.
- Heat oil in pot over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds; let them splutter 20 seconds.
- Add onion; fry 2 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic and ginger; fry 30 seconds.
- Add diced potatoes; stir-fry 2 minutes.
- Add sinki and green chillies; fry 2 minutes (blend flavors).
- Sprinkle turmeric and black pepper; fry 30 seconds.
- Pour water; bring to boil.
- Reduce to medium; simmer 12 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Add salt; taste and adjust.
- Serve hot; garnish with fresh coriander.
