👩🍳 How to make Millets Porridge
- Rinse millets under running water 3 times; drain thoroughly.
- Heat ghee in heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
- Add millets; toast 2 minutes while stirring constantly (releases aroma, prevents clumping).
- Pour water; bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce to low heat; cover partially and simmer 15 minutes until grains are soft (stir occasionally).
- When grains are tender, pour milk; add jaggery and cardamom powder.
- Simmer 2 more minutes, stirring gently until jaggery dissolves and porridge thickens.
- Add salt; taste and adjust sweetness.
- Serve warm, immediately after cooking.
