👩‍🍳 How to make Kinema Curry with Rice

  1. Heat oil in pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion; fry 2–3 minutes until golden.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; fry 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add green chillies; fry 20 seconds.
  5. Add kinema; stir-fry 2 minutes (distribute throughout).
  6. Sprinkle turmeric, garam masala, and asafoetida; fry 30 seconds.
  7. Pour water; bring to boil over medium heat.
  8. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 minutes (kinema softens, flavors infuse).
  9. Add salt; taste and adjust.
  10. Serve hot over steamed rice; garnish with fresh coriander.
