  1. Pressure cook soaked lentils with kidney beans, water, turmeric, salt, 8 whistles (16 min).
  2. Release, mash some lentils with spoon (partial crush, keep texture).
  3. In separate pot, heat ghee, cook fried onions, ginger-garlic 3 min.
  4. Add tomato purée, cook 5 min.
  5. Add red chili, coriander, garam masala, cook 2 min.
  6. Add mashed lentils, water if needed for consistency, simmer 15 min.
  7. Add cream, butter, kasuri methi, simmer 10 min more.
