👩🍳 How to make Tandoori Roti & Butter
- Mix flour and salt
- Add water gradually, knead into soft elastic dough (consistency: soft like earlobe)
- Knead for 5 minutes, add oil, knead 2 more minutes
- Rest dough covered for 30 minutes at room temperature
- Divide into 8 balls
- Roll each ball into 20cm circle on floured surface
- Heat tava/griddle to 200°C
- Place dough circle on hot tava
- Cook 15 seconds, flip
- Cook 15 seconds, press gently with cloth, bubbles should form
- Flip again, cook 10 seconds
- Visual: light brown spots, puffed surface
- Brush with ghee, serve hot
- Aroma: toasted wheat, ghee
