- Pressure cook soaked rajma with water, 10 whistles, then 10 minutes low heat
- Heat oil to 180°C, add cumin seeds, cook 30 seconds
- Add onion, fry 4 minutes until golden (170°C)
- Add ginger-garlic, cook 2 minutes
- Add tomato puree, cook 8 minutes on medium heat
- Add cooked rajma with cooking liquid
- Add chili powder, coriander, turmeric, salt
- Simmer 10 minutes on low heat (150°C)
- Add garam masala, cook 2 minutes
- Visual: thick, chunky curry with beans; Aroma: warm spices
- Serve with basmati rice
