- Midway addition (5 mins): Add remaining ghee midway through cooking (visual cue: mixture becomes glossy, darker).
- Cool (5 mins): Transfer to plate to cool completely (visual cue: mixture cools from hot to warm, becomes slightly firm).
- Add sweetener (2 mins): Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Mix thoroughly (visual cue: sugar distributes evenly, mixture becomes dry yet moist).
- Important note: Do not add sugar when milk solids are hot or even slightly warm, as sugar will melt and make entire thing sticky (visual cue: sugar should mix into cooled mixture, not dissolve).
- Form balls (3 mins): Form into 8 balls (visual cue: firm, smooth balls approximately 35g each).
