👩🍳 How to make Bread Pakora
- Prepare bread (3 mins): Cut bread slices diagonally into triangles (2 pieces per slice = 16 pieces). Let air-dry slightly (1 min)—reduces sogginess.
- Make batter (3 mins): Mix besan, rice flour, salt, ginger, ajwain, green chilies, coriander, onion, spices. Add water gradually until thick, coating consistency.
- Coat bread (3 mins): Dip each bread triangle into batter, coat completely on both sides. Place on tray immediately.
- Heat oil (1 min): Oil 350°F (175°C). Test with batter.
- Fry pakoras (8 mins, medium-high heat): Place coated bread into oil (batches of 6-8). Fry 6-8 mins, turning every 1-2 mins. Bread should be golden-brown, crispy throughout, not oil-soaked. Transfer to paper towels immediately (bread absorbs oil quickly).
- Serve immediately (1 min): Sprinkle chaat masala while very hot—best when served immediately, warm.
