  1. Cook rice + moong dal in salt water until grains separate (20 mins)
  2. Crush pepper + cumin
  3. Heat oil, add cashews + ginger, fry until golden (2 mins)
  4. Add curry leaves
  5. Add cooked rice + dal
  6. Fold gently, stir 2 mins
  7. Sprinkle pepper-cumin mixture
  8. Serve in banana leaf bowl if available
