- Boil rice with salt until cooked (15 mins)
- Heat oil, fry cashews golden (1.5 mins), add ginger slices
- Add raisins, fry 20 seconds
- Pour cooked rice into oil mixture
- Crush jaggery into small bits, add to rice
- Fold continuously over medium heat 3 mins
- Jaggery melts, rice gains golden gloss
