  1. Boil rice with salt until cooked (15 mins)
  2. Heat oil, fry cashews golden (1.5 mins), add ginger slices
  3. Add raisins, fry 20 seconds
  4. Pour cooked rice into oil mixture
  5. Crush jaggery into small bits, add to rice
  6. Fold continuously over medium heat 3 mins
  7. Jaggery melts, rice gains golden gloss
  8. Sprinkle cardamom powder
