👩‍🍳 How to make Olaiappam

  1. Warm idli batter to 40°C, add crushed jaggery
  2. Roast moong dal golden (4 mins), add cardamom powder
  3. Mix dal + coconut + salt into batter gently
  4. Grease idli molds with oil
  5. Fill molds 3/4 full, sprinkle dal-coconut mixture on top
  6. Steam 10 mins (water boiling, medium heat)
  7. Cool 2 mins, remove from mold
