👩🍳 How to make Olaiappam
- Warm idli batter to 40°C, add crushed jaggery
- Roast moong dal golden (4 mins), add cardamom powder
- Mix dal + coconut + salt into batter gently
- Grease idli molds with oil
- Fill molds 3/4 full, sprinkle dal-coconut mixture on top
- Steam 10 mins (water boiling, medium heat)
- Cool 2 mins, remove from mold
