  1. Cook toor dal soft, reserve water
  2. For fish: Heat oil, add onion, fry 2 mins
  3. Add fish + turmeric + salt, cook 3 mins
  4. Add tamarind + chili powder, simmer 5 mins
  5. For sambar: Heat oil, add mustard + cumin + red chili (crackling)
  6. Add pumpkin + dal water, simmer 8 mins
  7. Add cooked dal, curry leaves, simmer 2 mins
  8. Serve white rice in center
  9. Fish curry on one side, sambar on other
