- Soak black lentils + kidney beans overnight
- Pressure cook in salt water until soft (20 mins)
- Heat butter, add cumin + coriander (toasted 30 secs)
- Add ginger-garlic, fry 2 mins
- Add tomato paste, fry 3 mins (dark paste)
- Add cooked lentils + beans + cooking water
- Add chili powder, simmer 8 mins
- Add cream + kasuri methi
- Simmer 2 mins more
- Serve over white rice
