👩🍳 How to make Coconut Payasam
- Roast rice in dry pan 3 mins until nutty
- Heat ghee, fry cashews until golden (2 mins)
- Add raisins, fry 1 min until plump
- Add roasted rice, stir 2 mins
- Pour water + salt, bring to boil
- Simmer 12 mins until rice soft + creamy
- Gently stir in crushed jaggery
- Add coconut, fold gently
- Add cardamom powder
- Simmer 2 mins more
- Serve warm in bowl
- Rich creamy payasam, coconut + jaggery aroma
