👩‍🍳 How to make Oriya Paratha

  1. Mix flour and salt
  2. Add 15ml ghee (� of the amount)
  3. Gradually add water while kneading into soft dough (5 minutes)
  4. Cover, rest 20 minutes
  5. Divide into 6 equal balls
  6. On ghee-greased surface, roll each ball to thin 8-inch circle
  7. Brush with thin layer of melted ghee (3ml per paratha)
  8. Starting from one end, roll into tight cylinder
  9. Coil the cylinder spiral shape, flatten into 5-inch disc (2-3 times)
  10. Heat griddle over medium-high heat (170�C)
  11. Place paratha on griddle
  12. Cook 30 seconds until light brown spots appear
  13. Flip, cook other side 30 seconds
  14. Flip again, press down gently with cloth
  15. Cook 15�20 seconds more, paratha should puff slightly
  16. Both sides should have golden-brown spots
  17. Serve hot, stacked
