👩🍳 How to make Nariyal Rice
- Soak grated coconut in 250ml water for 10 minutes
- Squeeze out coconut milk, strain (yields ~200ml thick milk)
- Rinse rice, drain
- Heat ghee in pot over medium heat (30 seconds)
- Add cumin seeds, let crackle (10 seconds)
- Add sliced green chillies, fry (20 seconds)
- Add rice, mix to coat with ghee
- Add salt, stir
- Add coconut milk and 100ml water
- Bring to boil, reduce heat to low
- Cover, simmer 15�18 minutes until water is absorbed
- Fluff with fork
- Serve hot
