👩🍳 How to make Muga Dali
- Rinse and soak moong dal for 30 minutes, drain
- Pressure cook with turmeric and 200ml water (3 whistles, 6 minutes)
- Let pressure fall naturally
- Heat mustard oil in pan over medium heat (40 seconds)
- Add cumin seeds, let crackle (10 seconds)
- Add sliced green chillies, fry (20 seconds)
- Add cooked moong dal with liquid
- Add grated coconut
- Add 50ml water if too thick
- Simmer for 2�3 minutes until coconut flavor infuses
- Add salt, stir well
- Should be creamy consistency
