👩‍🍳 How to make Muga Dali

  1. Rinse and soak moong dal for 30 minutes, drain
  2. Pressure cook with turmeric and 200ml water (3 whistles, 6 minutes)
  3. Let pressure fall naturally
  4. Heat mustard oil in pan over medium heat (40 seconds)
  5. Add cumin seeds, let crackle (10 seconds)
  6. Add sliced green chillies, fry (20 seconds)
  7. Add cooked moong dal with liquid
  8. Add grated coconut
  9. Add 50ml water if too thick
  10. Simmer for 2�3 minutes until coconut flavor infuses
  11. Add salt, stir well
  12. Should be creamy consistency
