👩‍🍳 How to make Khichdi Sankranti

  1. Soak rice and moong dal for 15 minutes, drain
  2. Heat 15ml ghee in pot over medium heat (30 seconds)
  3. Add cashews, fry until golden (2 minutes), remove and set aside
  4. Add raisins, fry (1 minute), remove
  5. Add soaked rice and moong dal to pot, mix to coat with ghee
  6. Add water, jaggery, cardamom, salt
  7. Bring to boil, reduce heat to low
  8. Cover, simmer 15�18 minutes until water is absorbed
  9. Stir in 5ml ghee
  10. Add grated coconut, mix gently
  11. Top with fried cashews and raisins
  12. Serve hot
