👩🍳 How to make Khichdi
- Soak rice and moong dal for 15 minutes, drain
- Heat ghee in pot over medium heat (30 seconds)
- Add cumin seeds, let crackle (10 seconds)
- Add sliced green chillies, fry (20 seconds)
- Add soaked rice and moong dal, mix to coat with ghee (1 minute)
- Add turmeric, stir (20 seconds)
- Add water and salt
- Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low
- Cover, simmer for 15�18 minutes until rice and dal are soft and water is absorbed
- Grains should be cooked through but retain shape
- Fluff with fork, serve hot
