👩🍳 How to make Jau Roti
- Mix barley flour, wheat flour, salt in bowl
- Add 10ml oil
- Gradually add water while kneading into soft dough (5 minutes)
- Dough should be smooth and not sticky
- Cover, rest 15 minutes
- Divide into 8 equal balls
- Roll each ball to 6-inch diameter circle on oiled surface
- Heat griddle over medium-high heat (170�C)
- Place roti on griddle
- Cook 30�45 seconds until bottom has light brown spots
- Flip, cook other side 30 seconds until brown spots appear
- Flip again, press down gently with cloth, thin air pockets will form inside
- Cook 15 seconds until roti puffs slightly
- Transfer to plate
