👩‍🍳 How to make Jau Roti

  1. Mix barley flour, wheat flour, salt in bowl
  2. Add 10ml oil
  3. Gradually add water while kneading into soft dough (5 minutes)
  4. Dough should be smooth and not sticky
  5. Cover, rest 15 minutes
  6. Divide into 8 equal balls
  7. Roll each ball to 6-inch diameter circle on oiled surface
  8. Heat griddle over medium-high heat (170�C)
  9. Place roti on griddle
  10. Cook 30�45 seconds until bottom has light brown spots
  11. Flip, cook other side 30 seconds until brown spots appear
  12. Flip again, press down gently with cloth, thin air pockets will form inside
  13. Cook 15 seconds until roti puffs slightly
  14. Transfer to plate
