👩🍳 How to make Chikhalti
- Heat mustard oil in pan over medium heat (40 seconds)
- Add mustard seeds, let crackle (15 seconds)
- Add cumin seeds, stir (10 seconds)
- Add minced onion, fry until light golden (2�3 minutes)
- Add minced green chillies, fry (20 seconds)
- Add diced potatoes, fry (2�3 minutes until edges soften)
- Add peas, turmeric, salt, stir (1 minute)
- Add 150ml water, bring to simmer
- Add rice flakes slowly while stirring constantly (add all while stirring, 2�3 minutes)
- Reduce heat to low, continue stirring until water is absorbed and mixture is fluffy (5 minutes)
- Flakes should not clump together
