👩‍🍳 How to make Chikhalti

  1. Heat ghee in pan over medium heat (30 seconds)
  2. Add beaten rice, dry roast for 2�3 minutes (should smell nutty)
  3. Heat 150ml water in separate pot
  4. Add jaggery to water, stir until dissolved and brought to boil (2 minutes)
  5. Pour hot jaggery water over roasted beaten rice
  6. Add salt
  7. Stir well, let rest 2�3 minutes for liquid absorption
  8. Beaten rice should be soft but separate
  9. Top with chopped dry fruit
  10. Serve warm
