👩🍳 How to make Chakuli & Matar Tarkari
- (Tarkari):
- Pressure cook white peas with 400ml water and turmeric (1 whistle, 4 minutes), let pressure fall naturally
- Drain excess water, peas should be tender and split slightly
- Heat mustard oil in pan over medium heat (40 seconds)
- Add cumin seeds, let crackle (15 seconds)
- Add green chillies, stir (20 seconds)
- Add cooked peas, mix gently (1 minute)
- Check salt, add if needed
- Cook until peas soften further and flavors meld (2�3 minutes)
- Serve hot alongside Chakuli
