👩🍳 How to make Arua Pitha
- *Outer layer*:
- Rice flour: 150g
- Salt: 2g (� tsp)
- Water: 150ml
- Oil: 5ml (1 tsp)
- *Filling*:
- Moong dal: 50g, cooked
- Jaggery: 20g
- Coconut: 30g, grated
- Cardamom: 1, crushed
- Mix rice flour and salt
- Add 5ml oil
- Gradually add water to form soft dough
- Mix cooked moong dal, jaggery, coconut, and cardamom for filling
- Divide dough into 8 equal balls
- Flatten each ball, place 1 tbsp filling in center
- Fold edges up to enclose filling, seal with water
- Flatten gently to 3-inch disc (2cm thick)
- Steam in idli cooker or covered pan with water for 10�12 minutes
- Should be cooked through and firm
