👩‍🍳 How to make Arua Pitha

  1. *Outer layer*:
  2. Rice flour: 150g
  3. Salt: 2g (� tsp)
  4. Water: 150ml
  5. Oil: 5ml (1 tsp)
  6. *Filling*:
  7. Moong dal: 50g, cooked
  8. Jaggery: 20g
  9. Coconut: 30g, grated
  10. Cardamom: 1, crushed
  11. Mix rice flour and salt
  12. Add 5ml oil
  13. Gradually add water to form soft dough
  14. Mix cooked moong dal, jaggery, coconut, and cardamom for filling
  15. Divide dough into 8 equal balls
  16. Flatten each ball, place 1 tbsp filling in center
  17. Fold edges up to enclose filling, seal with water
  18. Flatten gently to 3-inch disc (2cm thick)
  19. Steam in idli cooker or covered pan with water for 10�12 minutes
  20. Should be cooked through and firm
