  1. Soak rice overnight.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Grease banana leaves with ghee.
  4. Pack rice tightly into banana leaf bundles.
  5. Place in steamer basket lined with holes.
  6. Steam over boiling water 40 min until rice is soft.
  7. Serve hot with axone chutney or curried pork.
