👩‍🍳 How to make Wari Paknam

  1. Mix pumpkin flour and rice flour with salt and turmeric (1 min)
  2. Add chopped onion, minced chilli, and coriander (1 min)
  3. Gradually add water to form thick batter (2 min) - consistency should be thicker than crepe batter
  4. Let batter rest 3 minutes to absorb water
  5. Heat thick tawa to medium heat, coat with oil
  6. Pour 90ml batter, flatten gently to 8mm thickness with damp hand
  7. Cook 5-6 min on first side until edges turn golden-brown and base firms (gently test with spatula)
  8. Drizzle oil around edges, flip carefully
  9. Cook 4-5 min on other side until pale brown
  10. Transfer to plate, serve immediately
