  1. Place fermented soybean paste in a bowl
  2. Add minced garlic, ginger, and chilli
  3. Stir well to combine aromatics with paste (1 min)
  4. Gradually add water while stirring to reach pourable consistency (2 min)
  5. Add finely diced onion and salt
  6. Stir well (1 min)
  7. Cover bowl, let sit at room temperature overnight (8-12 hours)
  8. Fermentation continues; mixture becomes more pungent
  9. Add fresh coriander just before consuming
  10. Serve at room temperature with rice
