👩🍳 How to make Thaneibung
- Clean and wash leafy shoots thoroughly (1 min)
- Coarsely chop if shoots are large, leave small ones whole (1 min)
- Heat oil in pot over medium heat (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, sauté 30 seconds until fragrant
- Add grated ginger and chopped onion, cook 2 minutes until softened
- Add sliced green chilli
- Pour in water, bring to boil (3 min)
- Add salt, then add leafy shoots
- Simmer 8-10 minutes until shoots are completely tender
- If using ngari, crumble and stir in during last 2 minutes of cooking
- Serve hot in bowls
