👩‍🍳 How to make Tapioca Kheer

  1. Soak sabudana in water 30 minutes until soft and translucent (30 min)
  2. Drain soaked sabudana thoroughly
  3. In heavy pan, heat ghee over medium
  4. Add sabudana, stir gently 2 minutes (this prevents sticking)
  5. Pour milk into pan, add crushed cardamom
  6. Bring to boil over medium heat (5 min)
  7. Reduce heat to low
  8. Simmer 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently (sabudana cooks and becomes translucent)
  9. Add jaggery, stir until dissolved (2 min)
  10. In separate pan, fry cashews and raisins in remaining ghee (1 min)
  11. Add fried nuts and raisins to kheer
  12. Add nutmeg powder
  13. Stir gently
  14. Serve hot or warm
