👩‍🍳 How to make Takari

  1. Dice all vegetables uniformly (2 min)
  2. Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
  3. Add cumin seeds, let crackle 30 seconds
  4. Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
  5. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  6. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add turmeric and coriander powder, stir quickly (30 seconds)
  8. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  9. Add sliced green chilli
  10. Add diced vegetables, stir gently (1 min)
  11. Pour water, add salt
  12. Bring to boil (5 min)
  13. Reduce heat to medium-low
  14. Simmer 15-18 minutes until vegetables are very tender
  15. Stir occasionally
  16. Serve hot
