👩‍🍳 How to make Semolina Breakfast Cake

  1. Mix semolina and besan in bowl (1 min)
  2. Add salt and turmeric (30 seconds)
  3. Add chopped onion, minced chilli, ginger, coriander (1 min)
  4. Gradually add water to form thick batter (2 min)
  5. Let rest 3 minutes (semolina absorbs water better over time)
  6. Heat tawa to medium, apply oil generously
  7. Pour 100ml batter, flatten to 8mm thickness
  8. Cook 6-7 min until bottom is golden-brown (semolina requires longer cooking)
  9. Drizzle oil, flip
  10. Cook 5-6 min until other side is light golden
  11. Transfer to plate
