👩🍳 How to make Pucca Thongba
- If using fresh bamboo shoots, boil 10 minutes with salt water, drain (10 min) - or use pre-boiled canned (just drain)
- Cut into thin strips (1 min)
- Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add bamboo shoot strips, stir (1 min)
- Add sliced green chilli
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (3 min)
- Add crumbled fermented fish
- Reduce heat to medium-low
- Simmer 10-12 minutes
- Stir occasionally
- Serve hot
