👩‍🍳 How to make Phal Thongba

  1. Peel raw papaya, remove seeds, cube finely (2 min)
  2. Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
  3. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  4. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  5. Add turmeric, stir (30 seconds)
  6. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add sliced green chilli
  8. Add cubed raw fruit, stir gently (1 min)
  9. Pour water, add salt
  10. Bring to boil (5 min)
  11. Reduce heat to medium-low
  12. Simmer 12-15 minutes until fruit is tender
  13. Stir occasionally
  14. Serve hot
