👩🍳 How to make Pea Paknam
- Blanch fresh peas 3-4 minutes, drain, cool (5 min)
- Mash peas with fork (not too fine, some texture should remain) (1 min)
- Mix besan with salt and cumin seeds (1 min)
- Add mashed peas, chopped onion, minced ginger, chilli (2 min)
- Gradually add water to form thick batter (1 min)
- Heat tawa to medium, apply oil
- Pour 100ml batter, flatten to 8mm thickness
- Cook 6-7 min until bottom is golden-brown and edges firm
- Drizzle oil around edges, flip
- Cook 4-5 min until other side is light golden
- Transfer to plate
