👩‍🍳 How to make Pea Paknam

  1. Blanch fresh peas 3-4 minutes, drain, cool (5 min)
  2. Mash peas with fork (not too fine, some texture should remain) (1 min)
  3. Mix besan with salt and cumin seeds (1 min)
  4. Add mashed peas, chopped onion, minced ginger, chilli (2 min)
  5. Gradually add water to form thick batter (1 min)
  6. Heat tawa to medium, apply oil
  7. Pour 100ml batter, flatten to 8mm thickness
  8. Cook 6-7 min until bottom is golden-brown and edges firm
  9. Drizzle oil around edges, flip
  10. Cook 4-5 min until other side is light golden
  11. Transfer to plate
