👩🍳 How to make Pal Burfi
- In heavy pan, heat ghee over medium
- Add milk powder and crumbled khoya
- Stir and cook 5 minutes (dry roast)
- Add jaggery, stir well
- Reduce heat to low
- Continue stirring frequently for 15-20 minutes as mixture darkens and thickens
- When it starts leaving oil on pan sides, it's done
- Add cardamom powder
- Add cashews and raisins (pre-fried in ghee if desired)
- Add nutmeg powder
- Mix well
- Transfer to greased plate immediately
- Press down firmly to compact
- Let cool completely
- Cut into squares
