👩🍳 How to make Paan Thongba
- Wash colocasia leaves 3 times thoroughly, pat dry (2 min)
- Cut into rough 5cm pieces (1 min)
- Heat oil lightly in pot (1 min)
- Add grated ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add sliced green chilli
- Add colocasia leaf pieces, stir gently (1 min)
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (5 min)
- Add crumbled fermented fish
- Reduce heat to medium-low
- Simmer 12-15 minutes until leaves are very tender and break down
- Stir occasionally
- Serve hot in bowls
