👩‍🍳 How to make Paan Chingri

  1. Wash colocasia 3 times thoroughly, pat dry (2 min)
  2. Cut into 5cm pieces (1 min)
  3. Pat prawns dry (1 min)
  4. Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
  5. Add grated ginger, cook 1 minute
  6. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add sliced green chilli
  8. Add colocasia pieces, stir gently (1 min)
  9. Pour water, add salt
  10. Bring to boil (5 min)
  11. Gently place prawns on top of colocasia
  12. Reduce heat to medium-low
  13. Simmer 12-15 minutes until colocasia is very tender and prawns are pink
  14. Stir gently occasionally
  15. Serve hot
