👩‍🍳 How to make Mua Thongba

  1. If dried fish are very hard, soak briefly 5 minutes in water, drain (5 min)
  2. Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
  3. Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
  4. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  5. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  6. Add dried fish, stir gently (1 min)
  7. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  8. Add sliced green chilli
  9. Pour water, add salt
  10. Bring to boil (3 min)
  11. Reduce heat to medium-low
  12. Simmer 8-10 minutes
  13. Stir occasionally
  14. Serve hot
