👩🍳 How to make Morok Meitai
- Slit chillies lengthwise, remove seeds for milder dish or keep for spicy (2 min)
- Heat oil in pan over medium-high (1 min)
- Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
- Add minced ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add finely diced onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add slit chillies, cook 3 minutes (chillies soften slightly)
- Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
- Add water and salt
- Simmer 5-7 minutes until chillies are very soft and almost translucent
- Stir occasionally
- Sauce should reduce and become thick
- Serve hot
