  1. Heat oil in pot (1 min)
  2. Add cumin, crackle 30 seconds
  3. Add asafoetida, swirl (10 seconds)
  4. Add ginger, cook 1 minute
  5. Add chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  6. Add mixed sprouts, stir gently (1 min)
  7. Pour water and salt
  8. Bring to boil (4 min)
  9. Add sliced green chilli
  10. Simmer 8-10 minutes (sprouts soften, flavors develop)
  11. Stir occasionally
  12. Serve hot
