👩‍🍳 How to make Khu Thongba

  1. Clean fish shanks, pat dry (2 min)
  2. Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
  3. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  4. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  5. Add turmeric, stir (30 seconds)
  6. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add sliced green chilli
  8. Carefully place fish shanks in pan
  9. Pour water, add salt
  10. Bring to boil (5 min)
  11. Reduce heat to medium-low
  12. Simmer 12-15 minutes until fish meat is cooked through
  13. Stir gently occasionally
  14. Serve hot
