👩🍳 How to make Khu Thongba
- Clean fish shanks, pat dry (2 min)
- Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
- Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
- Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add turmeric, stir (30 seconds)
- Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
- Add sliced green chilli
- Carefully place fish shanks in pan
- Pour water, add salt
- Bring to boil (5 min)
- Reduce heat to medium-low
- Simmer 12-15 minutes until fish meat is cooked through
- Stir gently occasionally
- Serve hot
