👩‍🍳 How to make Kaba Sambal

  1. If using fresh fish, cook in boiling water 10 minutes until cooked through, drain, flake with fork (10 min)
  2. If using dried fish, soak in water 5 minutes, then cook (5 min)
  3. Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
  4. Add minced ginger and green chilli, cook 1 minute
  5. Add finely diced onion, cook 2 minutes
  6. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  7. Add flaked cooked fish, stir gently (1 min)
  8. Add water and salt
  9. Simmer 5-7 minutes (flavors blend, mixture becomes thick and creamy)
  10. Stir occasionally
  11. Remove from heat
  12. Add lime juice and coriander, fold gently
  13. Serve warm
