👩🍳 How to make Kaba Sambal
- If using fresh fish, cook in boiling water 10 minutes until cooked through, drain, flake with fork (10 min)
- If using dried fish, soak in water 5 minutes, then cook (5 min)
- Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
- Add minced ginger and green chilli, cook 1 minute
- Add finely diced onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
- Add flaked cooked fish, stir gently (1 min)
- Add water and salt
- Simmer 5-7 minutes (flavors blend, mixture becomes thick and creamy)
- Stir occasionally
- Remove from heat
- Add lime juice and coriander, fold gently
- Serve warm
