👩🍳 How to make Jaggery Halwa
- In heavy pan, melt ghee over medium heat
- Add crushed cardamom, let flavor infuse 1 minute
- Pour water, add grated jaggery
- Stir well until jaggery dissolves (3 min)
- Let it boil 5 minutes
- Add grated coconut, stir continuously
- Add cashews and raisins
- Continue stirring as mixture thickens and reduces
- When mixture starts leaving oil on sides of pan, it's done (about 5 more minutes)
- Add nutmeg powder
- Transfer to greased plate immediately
- Let cool 10 minutes, then cut into pieces
