  1. If dried shrimp are hard, soak briefly 3 minutes, drain (3 min)
  2. Heat oil in pan over medium (1 min)
  3. Add sliced ginger, cook 1 minute
  4. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  5. Add sliced green chilli
  6. Add dried shrimp, stir (1 min)
  7. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 2 minutes
  8. Pour water, add salt
  9. Bring to boil (3 min)
  10. Reduce heat to medium-low
  11. Simmer 8-10 minutes
  12. Stir occasionally
  13. Serve hot
