👩‍🍳 How to make Honey-Ginger Tan

  1. Mix rice flour with jaggery powder and salt (1 min)
  2. Add finely minced ginger and cardamom powder (1 min)
  3. Toast sesame seeds in dry pan 2 minutes, add to flour mixture (2 min)
  4. Gradually add water to form soft dough (1 min)
  5. Knead gently with oiled palms until smooth (1 min)
  6. Divide into 5 equal portions
  7. On oiled surface, flatten each portion to thin circle (3mm thick)
  8. Heat tawa to medium, lightly oil
  9. Place tan on tawa, cook 3-4 min per side until pale golden
  10. Press gently with spatula to ensure even cooking
  11. Remove when edges turn slightly darker gold
