👩‍🍳 How to make Hawai Thongba

  1. Heat oil in pot over medium (1 min)
  2. Add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds
  3. Add grated ginger, cook 1 minute
  4. Add coarsely chopped onion, cook 2 minutes
  5. Add sliced green chilli
  6. Add fermented soybean paste, stir well for 2 minutes (distribute paste throughout)
  7. Pour water gradually while stirring
  8. Add salt
  9. Bring to boil (5 min)
  10. Reduce heat to medium-low
  11. Simmer 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally
  12. Mixture becomes thick and creamy
  13. Serve hot in bowls
